Gondwana Rainforest Trust is dedicated to safeguarding the future of the world’s rainforests.

Through our projects we deliver real outcomes for wildlife, climate, people and planet. With your support we protect and restore rainforests by purchasing land, creating new protected areas, stopping and reversing the impacts of development, and restoring rainforest ecosystems damaged in the past.

As a Trust, we carefully steward contributions to maximise outcomes for the rainforest conservation cause, fulfilling our mission and duties with transparency and passion.

Our Mission and Values, Partnership Strategy and Conservation Strategy further outline who we are, what we do, and how we do it.

We know that by working together we can make the world a better place, so building and maintaining relationships are at the centre of everything we do. We’d love to hear from you so please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Origin

Gondwana Rainforest Trust Founder Kelvin Davies established the non-profit organisation under the name Rainforest 4 Foundation in August 2018 to help protect and restore the Earth’s rainforests.

With the support of the community, the growth of our flagship programs Save the Daintree and Rainforest Rangers resulted in the need for a new overarching identity that reflected the continued expansion of our conservation impact.

As of September 2023, Rainforest 4 Foundation Ltd changed its name to Gondwana Rainforest Trust Ltd.
